Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Human Resources Coordinator to provide administrative support to our HR team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining employee records, preparing business reports, and performing special projects as assigned.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide daily support to the HR team, including preparation of various business reports and materials requiring a high level of confidentiality.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records and files.
  • Answer telephone calls, screen calls, and take messages in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Perform special projects as assigned by the Director of HR, Manager of HR, and other Executives.
  • Compile and analyze internal reports, and revise and update reports as necessary.
  • Identify and timely report problems or deficiencies with recommendations for resolving them.
  • Develop and maintain a collaborative relationship with senior management and other personnel.
  • Perform audits on employee personnel records and files, data entry, and other administrative tasks.
  • Complete timely and accurate data entry on all status changes, employee actions, and attendance.
  • Assist at the HR counter during peak activity times.
  • Maintain complete confidentiality regarding all information.
  • Provide interpretation in the Spanish language for communication with employees regarding employee actions, attendance, questions, etc.
Requirements
  • Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Computer literacy with experience in Excel, PowerPoint, and Internet-based web applications.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Ability to work varied schedules if necessary, including periodic Saturdays.
  • Ability to work without immediate supervision and make sound judgments as necessary.
Language Skills

The ideal candidate will be fluent in Spanish and have the ability to read and interpret documents in English and Spanish.

Mathematical Skills

The candidate should have the ability to apply mathematical applications to practical situations.

Reasoning Ability

The successful candidate will have the ability to solve practical problems and interpret various instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

Other Skills and Abilities

The ideal candidate will have the ability to use computers and all standard programs used by the industry and learn and effectively use any and all other computer programs that are or will be made available.

Work Environment

The work environment will be an office-type setting, but may require trips through the entire facility, including climate extremes.
