Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Guest Services Representative to join our team at Highgate Hotels. As a key member of our Front Desk team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests, ensuring their stay with us is memorable and enjoyable.

Key Responsibilities
  • Guest Service: Greet and welcome all guests approaching the Front Desk, providing a warm and friendly demeanor at all times.
  • Front Desk Operations: Maintain proper operation of the PBX console, ensure all hotel standards are met, and handle check-ins and checkouts in a friendly, efficient, and courteous manner.
  • Communication: Answer guest inquiries about hotel services, facilities, and hours of operation in a timely manner, and ensure logging and delivery of packages, mail, and messages to guests and meeting rooms.
  • Customer Service: Provide assistance to guests with safe deposit boxes, and maintain a clean work area.
  • Teamwork: Collaborate with other hotel staff to ensure seamless service delivery and maintain high standards of personal appearance and grooming.
Requirements
  • Education: High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • Experience: Previous experience in a hotel or related field preferred.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and customer service skills, ability to multitask and prioritize departmental functions, and proficiency in computer systems.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to stand during entire shift, exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 10 pounds of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects.
