Job Summary

As a Guest Service Representative at Marriott International Inc, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests. Your primary duties will include organizing and confirming guest check-ins and check-outs, processing room reservations and requests, and securing payment. You will also be responsible for verifying and adjusting billing, activating and filing room keys, and processing all guest requests and messages. Additionally, you will be required to identify and explain room features to guests, supply them with directions and information regarding property amenities and services, and follow up on any outstanding requests or problems from the previous day.

Key Responsibilities
  • Organize and confirm guest check-ins and check-outs
  • Process room reservations and requests
  • Secure payment and verify and adjust billing
  • Activate and file room keys
  • Process all guest requests and messages
  • Identify and explain room features to guests
  • Supply guests with directions and information regarding property amenities and services
  • Follow up on any outstanding requests or problems from the previous day

Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Previous experience in a customer service role preferred
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends
