General Overview

The Lead Merchandising Coordinator is accountable for the replenishment and presentation of products across all assigned large retail locations and similar accounts. This role will also serve as a temporary supervisor when necessary, fostering motivation and inspiration among team members.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify optimal product placement, construct, and uphold product displays and equipment arrangements in alignment with corporate guidelines.
  • Ensure adequate product availability in beverage sections and throughout accounts, including shelf organization and cold storage management.
  • Oversee back stock inventory levels and manage trade breakage within designated accounts.
  • Fulfill customer service expectations through daily interactions, resolving issues, and providing timely follow-ups.
  • Maintain a professional and collaborative relationship with colleagues, clients, and consumers.
  • Ensure proper inventory levels, safeguard company assets, and manage point-of-sale materials, ensuring compliance with corporate merchandising standards.
  • Assess the product requirements of stores, placing and transmitting orders in accordance with established sales routes.
  • Communicate account-related activities to relevant stakeholders.
  • Uphold merchandising standards while rotating products consistently in assigned accounts.
  • Replace and maintain point-of-sale advertising as necessary for each account.

Qualifications

  • High School diploma or GED is preferred.
  • A minimum of 3 years of general work experience is required.
  • At least 1 year of experience in a leadership role is necessary.
  • Physical capability to repetitively lift, pull, and push over 50 pounds; bend, reach overhead, and kneel.
  • Prior experience in sales or merchandising is preferred.
  • Exceptional planning and organizational skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and follow-up abilities.
  • Ability to operate with minimal supervision.
  • Must possess a personal vehicle for business use.
  • A valid Driver's License, current vehicle liability insurance, and a driving record that adheres to company policy guidelines.
