Role Summary:

Under general supervision, the Fleet Mechanic is tasked with the maintenance, diagnosis, and repair of a diverse range of heavy construction machinery. This role is crucial in ensuring that all operations are conducted safely, efficiently, and effectively.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Adhere to and actively promote all safety protocols, including the reporting of accidents and near misses, in alignment with our foremost core value – Safety.
  • Diagnose and rectify issues in both on-road and off-road construction equipment, encompassing both small and large machinery.
  • Conduct routine preventive maintenance on fleet vehicles and equipment as required.
  • Perform minor welding tasks as necessary.
  • Accurately complete daily work orders.
  • Submit approved parts request forms promptly.
  • Execute field service repairs as needed.
  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment, utilizing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times.
  • Carry out additional related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
  • A minimum of five years of experience in servicing large and small construction equipment.
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
  • Detail-oriented with a flexible approach to scheduling.
  • Possession of personal tools and a valid driver's license; CDL is advantageous.
  • Capacity to adapt to changing work schedules.
