Heavy Equipment Technician

Position Overview:

Sign-On Bonus:
Terms and conditions apply. The bonus will be disbursed in two phases: $500 after the completion of 90 days of employment and an additional $500 after 180 days. Should employment conclude before the six-month period, repayment of the initial installment will be necessary.
Tool Allowance:
Terms and conditions apply. After 90 days of employment, employees may submit receipts for a one-time purchase of work tools up to $500 for reimbursement. If employment terminates before six months, repayment of the tool reimbursement will be required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Adhere to and actively promote all safety policies and procedures, including the reporting of all accidents, incidents, and near misses to uphold our primary core value – Safety, which is paramount in all our operations.
- Diagnose and repair issues with construction equipment, both on-road and off-road, encompassing both small and large machinery.
- Conduct routine preventive maintenance on fleet vehicles and equipment as necessary.
- Perform minor welding tasks as required.
- Accurately complete daily work orders.
- Submit approved parts request forms promptly.
- Execute field service repairs as needed.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment, utilizing proper personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times.
- Carry out other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of five years of experience working with large and small construction equipment is required.
- Ability to work independently is essential.
- Must be capable of meeting deadlines according to established schedules.
- Detail-oriented approach is necessary.
- Flexibility in scheduling is required.
- Possession of personal tools and a valid driver's license is mandatory; a CDL is a plus.
- Ability to adapt to changing schedules is important.
