Position Summary:
Become an integral part of a dedicated team that fosters a nurturing and supportive environment for families in need. As a Family Support Counselor, your role will be essential in ensuring that families feel secure and valued as they navigate their journey towards stable housing.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Contribute to a warm, inviting atmosphere where all individuals feel appreciated.
  • Assist families with daily activities, impart essential life skills, and provide supportive guidance.
  • Document progress through concise notes for each family.
  • Participate in team meetings to exchange insights and learn collaboratively.
  • Ensure adherence to shelter policies to maintain a safe and structured environment.

Qualifications:
  • Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply
  • Experience in supporting individuals from low-income backgrounds or those facing mental health challenges and/or substance use issues.
