As a Therapeutic Training and Support Specialist, you will engage in structured, one-on-one skill-building sessions with youth, focusing on enhancing their interpersonal communication, problem-solving abilities, and conflict resolution skills. You will work closely with a Master's Level Clinician to implement tailored therapeutic objectives that address the mental health, behavioral, and emotional needs of the youth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate understanding and management of emotions and responses in youth, guiding them to navigate their feelings effectively.
  • Coordinate care with community providers involved in the youth's treatment to ensure comprehensive support.
  • Collaborate with clinicians, youth, and families to develop effective safety plans for crisis situations.
  • Assist families in identifying and utilizing community resources and natural support systems.

Qualifications:

  • A bachelor's degree in a relevant field is required.
  • Possession of a valid driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle.
  • Applicants must be at least 21 years old and proficient in computer skills.
  • Experience working with emotionally challenged children or adolescents for one to two years is preferred.
  • Bilingual candidates (English/Spanish) are highly encouraged to apply.

Compensation:

  • Full-time salary starting at $46,000, commensurate with experience.
  • Fee-for-service rate of $23.25.
