Office Management and HR Coordinator

Position Overview: Our client is in search of a dedicated and detail-oriented Office Management and Human Resources Coordinator to enhance their team. The ideal candidate will possess a robust administrative background with a minimum of one year in human resources. This role encompasses supporting the Office Manager while managing various HR responsibilities, including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, payroll assistance, and benefits management. Strong organizational skills and the ability to maintain confidentiality are essential for success in this position.


Salary: $52,000 - $62,400 per year
Shift: First
Work Hours: 8 AM - 4:30 PM
Education: No Degree Required


Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in creating and posting job advertisements
  • Screen resumes and applications; conduct preliminary phone interviews
  • Coordinate and schedule interviews with hiring managers
  • Conduct reference checks and background verifications
  • Prepare and distribute offer letters and onboarding documentation
  • Facilitate new employee orientations and ensure completion of onboarding paperwork
  • Support the setup of new employee accounts and workstations
  • Address employee inquiries and provide guidance on HR policies
  • Assist in resolving employee issues and conflicts
  • Maintain accurate and current employee records
  • Review and approve employee evaluations
  • Develop, revise, and implement policies and procedures
  • Manage workers' compensation claims and incidents
  • Consult with management on separation decisions
  • Complete final paperwork for separations
  • Conduct separation meetings for involuntary separations
  • Collect and verify timekeeping information for all staff
  • Assist in payroll processing and address discrepancies
  • Ensure compliance with payroll regulations
  • Support employees with benefits enrollment and modifications
  • Coordinate with benefits providers to resolve employee issues
  • Conduct benefits orientations and respond to employee inquiries
  • Ensure adherence to labor laws and company policies
