Job Summary

Smiths Interconnect is seeking a highly motivated Regional Sales Manager to lead the strategic sales direction, management, support, communication, and interaction for all Smiths Interconnect, Connector BU activities in their defined territory.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years direct field sales experience and a strong understanding of the aerospace and defence industry. They will be responsible for increasing sales aligned with corporate growth objectives, meeting monthly, quarterly, and yearly targets for orders and shipments, and identifying new opportunities and designs.

The Regional Sales Manager will also be responsible for establishing and maintaining high-level relationships with key customers, coordinating with internal stakeholders for quarterly business reviews and customer-specific pricing negotiations.

Additionally, they will be responsible for gathering and analyzing market trends, competitive information, and customer needs to refine product offerings and support Design Wins.

The successful candidate will have a strong ability to absorb and communicate technical information with engineering and FAE, and will be able to travel up to 50% of the time.

Responsibilities

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years direct field sales experience.
  • Strong understanding of the aerospace and defence industry.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to travel up to 50% of the time.
