About the Program

ChristianaCare is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Float Pool Nurse Residency Program. This 12-month program is designed to provide new nurses with the skills and knowledge needed to succeed in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

Program Highlights
  • Preceptor-led clinical training on multiple units, including medical, surgical, and step-down units
  • Independent practice with support from experienced nurses and mentors
  • Professional development courses to enhance skills and knowledge
  • Opportunity to work in a variety of settings, including Wilmington and Christiana Hospitals
Requirements
  • Graduating from an accredited nursing school (BSN preferred)
  • BLS certification required
  • Less than 12 months of nursing experience by the start of the program
  • Eligible for Delaware license as a Graduate Nurse/Registered Nurse
