The Susan Horak Group is a property management firm seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounts Payable/Receivable Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will play a vital part in ensuring the smooth financial operations of our company.

Responsibilities:
  • Manage all aspects of accounts payable, including processing, recording, and payment of vendor invoices.
  • Oversee company credit card charges and payments, ensuring accuracy and timely reconciliation.
  • Track and invoice work order time and materials, accurately capturing labor costs for projects.
  • Analyze and evaluate the chargeability of time and material expenses on remodel and construction jobs.
  • Generate invoices for chargeable costs associated with remodel and construction projects in a timely manner.
  • Process customer payments and maintain accurate records of all transactions.
  • Review and reconcile payroll reports before submission to our external payroll provider, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of bi-weekly payroll.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in performing accounts payable/receivable functions within a business environment.
  • Prior experience reconciling credit card statements and managing company expenses.
  • Excellent communication skills, enabling effective interaction with clients and vendors regarding financial matters.
  • Proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, and Word software applications.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to meeting deadlines.
  • Analytical and problem-solving abilities to address financial discrepancies and inquiries.
  • Self-motivated and capable of working independently with minimal supervision.
  • Effective time management skills and the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
