Position Summary:
We are looking for a Strategic Product Sales Executive to enhance our sales efforts for specific product lines, including the ProQuest One Suite of Products, across designated regions in the United States.

Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with Account Managers to identify and cultivate new business opportunities.
- Serve as the expert on specialty products, effectively communicating their value proposition as standalone offerings or as part of a comprehensive portfolio.
- Assess top opportunities based on key initiatives and product strategies established by sales leadership, coordinating with Account Managers to integrate these into overall territory and account plans.
- Assist in forecasting for specialty products alongside Account Managers.
- Determine the most suitable team member to engage clients for new opportunities, taking into account account history and existing relationships.
- Lead both individual and group product demonstrations.
- Maintain pricing authority in alignment with directives from the sales director and pricing team.
- Document leads and new activities related to specialty products.

About You:
- A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent professional experience.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in leading product demonstrations, training sessions, and presentations.
- Proven ability to articulate value propositions for specialized products and respond to inquiries regarding product features.
- A successful track record in technology and/or online content sales.
- Strong analytical skills to evaluate data and derive actionable insights.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, capable of engaging with a diverse range of personalities to achieve resolutions and maintain robust relationships.
- Proficiency in Salesforce and other relevant software tools.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Advanced degree in Library Science or a related discipline.
- Experience working within a matrix sales environment and familiarity with the academic library sector.

Team Dynamics:
This role reports to the Vice President of Product Sales, who oversees a team of 18 professionals. You will be part of a global team of Product Sales specialists supporting the Academic & Government sectors, collaborating with various organizational functions including Product Development, Global Sales & Marketing, and IT.

Work Environment:
This is a full-time, permanent position. While the majority of duties will be performed during standard business hours, occasional off-hours work may be necessary. Up to 50% travel may be required.
