OVERVIEW OF THE PROJECT MANAGER ROLE:

  • Open to GC or US Citizens only.
  • We are in search of a professional with expertise in business translation and project oversight.
  • Compensation Range: $55-$65/hr.
  • Mandatory in-office presence on designated days in Maple Grove, MN.
  • Daily responsibilities include supporting multiple programs, facilitating meetings, and engaging in follow-up discussions.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Collaborate with business and IT leadership to define project objectives and deliverables.
  • Evaluate how changes in scope, issues, and risks may impact projects, working with management and stakeholders to achieve consensus on resolutions.
  • Monitor project performance to ensure alignment with the initial plan and budget.
  • Formulate and implement a work plan, securing necessary resources to guarantee the completion of all tasks.
  • Document lessons learned and secure final project approval from sponsors and stakeholders.
  • Report on project progress by generating detailed project reports that provide timely and accurate status updates to the Project Team and Department manager.
  • Coordinate resources to address project requirements and effectively delegate tasks and deliverables to team members based on their skills.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant Corporate and Divisional Policies and procedures.
  • Assist Program or Project managers with phases of larger projects as needed.
  • Make impactful decisions regarding project-level activities and influence project budgets.

ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in project management, business systems analysis, or software development.

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Experience with Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
  • Strong business analysis capabilities are essential.
  • Proficient in facilitating and leading meetings.
  • Ability to drive objectives, foster relationships, and enhance relationship development to achieve business goals.
  • Preferred experience with Azure, as the role involves cloud migration projects across various business units.
