OVERVIEW OF THE PROJECT MANAGER ROLE:

  • GC OR US CITIZEN ONLY
  • We are in search of a professional with expertise in business translation and project oversight.
  • Compensation Range: $55-$65/hr
  • Mandatory in-office presence on designated days in Maple Grove, MN
  • Daily Responsibilities: Support for multiple programs, conduct meetings and follow-up discussions, and manage potential side projects.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Collaborate with business and IT leadership to define project goals, objectives, and deliverables.
  • Evaluate how changes in scope, issues, and risks may impact projects, working with department heads and sponsors to reach consensus on resolutions.
  • Monitor performance to ensure the project aligns with the initial plan and budget.
  • Develop and implement a work plan, securing authorized resources to guarantee all tasks are completed.
  • Collect lessons learned and secure final project approval from sponsors and stakeholders.
  • Communicate project status by generating reports that provide timely and accurate information to the Project Team and Department manager.
  • Coordinate resources to address project needs and effectively delegate tasks and deliverables to team members based on their skills.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant Corporate and Divisional Policies and procedures.
  • Support Program or Project managers on segments of larger projects at the department level.
  • Make decisions that influence project-level activities and impact the project budget.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in project management, business systems analysis, or software development.

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Experience with Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
  • Strong business analysis capabilities are essential.
  • Proficient in facilitating and leading meetings.
  • Ability to drive objectives, foster relationships, and enhance relationship development to achieve business goals.
  • Preferred experience with Azure, as the role involves cloud migration projects for various business units.
