Position:
IT Program Coordinator - Hybrid

Overview:

This role involves the planning, execution, and oversight of IT initiatives within established parameters. Collaborates with business and IT leadership to define project aims, objectives, and deliverables.

Evaluate how modifications to scope, challenges, and risks may impact projects, working alongside departmental management and sponsors to achieve consensus for resolution.

Monitor performance to ensure the project is on track with the initial plan and budget. Formulates and implements a work strategy, securing authorized resources to guarantee all tasks are executed effectively. Collect insights and secure final project endorsement from sponsors and stakeholders.

Relay project advancements by generating reports that provide timely and precise project status and decision-making support to the Project Team and Department manager.

Organize resources to address project requirements and efficiently allocate tasks and deliverables to team members based on their skill sets.

Accountable for adherence to relevant Corporate and Divisional Policies and procedures. At the departmental level, or assists Program or Project managers with segments of a larger initiative. Make decisions that influence project-level activities. Impact project-level budgeting.

Qualifications:
A Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, or a related field. Minimum of 3 years of experience in project management, business systems analysis, or software development.

Essential Skills:

Experience in IT software project management within a waterfall framework - must demonstrate leadership, proactive software delivery on IT-related projects, specifically in developing new computer systems. Candidates with over 15 years of IT project management experience will be considered overqualified.

Mid-level project management role overseeing daily operations.

Verify candidates have IT Project Management experience from 2010 onwards.

A great opportunity for candidates who have managed smaller projects.

Consistent IT Project Management experience is required.

Stable job titles with no discrepancies or title changes to align with job postings.

Experience with infrastructure systems in an IT context (software-based).

This is a highly interpersonal role - candidates must be comfortable with public speaking.

Additional Insights:

This is a tactical, day-to-day position for individuals with 10 to 15 years of experience as an IT Project Manager.

Technical proficiency beyond the typical project manager is necessary, with an understanding of MS Azure, IT networking, security, processes, and the ability to assess technical requests.

Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential.

o The role is client-facing, requiring clear, effective, and professional communication with clients.
o Must exhibit exceptional organizational skills.
o Ability to manage conflicts professionally and identify mutually acceptable resolutions.

Note:

Initial on-site presence is required for the first month, after which a hybrid work model will be implemented.

Hybrid Schedule:
In-office presence is required three days a week (Monday, Wednesday, Friday in-office & Tuesday, Thursday remote).
