About the Role

We are seeking an experienced professional to lead our Client Services team as an Assistant Vice President. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for managing a team of up to 5 staff, ensuring high-quality service, proactive client engagement, and effective solutions for challenging client situations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage a team of Client Services staff, providing guidance and support to ensure excellent client service.
  • Develop and implement customized solutions to drive value and improve program performance.
  • Proactively engage with clients, including annual in-person visits for key clients.
  • Collaborate with senior leaders to define priorities for the team.
  • Identify opportunities for improvement within the Client Services department and company overall.
  • Develop plans of action to address client concerns and mobilize resources across the organization.
  • Influence and motivate others through persuasive points-of-view.
  • Help team members identify key individuals within client organizations for client, program, and company success.
  • Ensure consistent engagement with clients across the team.
  • Define high expectations for client service and results across the team's book of business.
  • Understand client goals and ensure high-quality service plans among team members.
  • Engage clients on a recurring basis to ensure satisfaction with service levels and results against client goals.
  • Capture and share results with senior team leaders and track progress over time.
  • Identify potential exposures across industries.
  • Have a robust understanding of how cost of risk impacts clients' financial statements and unique attributes that may hinder solutions.
  • Develop and recommend customized solutions for clients to drive value.
  • Proactively identify issues and opportunities within the book of business.
  • Assess program performance of direct reports and make recommendations on ways to improve.

About You

We are looking for a professional with a strong background in client services, leadership, and industry expertise. Required qualifications include a Bachelor's degree and five or more years of work experience, as well as an insurance license. Key behaviors include the ability to create success stories, capture learning's, and provide synthesized summaries to senior leadership.
