At West Coast University, we are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Program Assistant to join our team. As a key member of our student-centered community, you will provide administrative support for our healthcare programs, helping students achieve their goals and make a positive impact in the lives of their patients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the program leadership team with administrative tasks, ensuring seamless program operations.
  • Manage sensitive and confidential information with discretion, maintaining the trust of our students, staff, and faculty.
  • Collect, track, and analyze data within our database system, ensuring accurate records and informed decision-making.
  • Schedule and organize committee meetings, preparing and distributing minutes with precision.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to students, associates, faculty, and stakeholders, ensuring a positive experience.
  • Monitor and communicate with students and associates regarding license, certification, and development activities, ensuring compliance and accuracy.
  • Support other departments as needed, maintaining a collaborative and supportive work environment.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records, ensuring compliance with accreditation standards.

Requirements:

  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • 2-3 years of experience in office administration, preferably in an academic or business setting.
  • Excellent reception and telephone communication skills, with a strong command of grammar, punctuation, and spelling.
  • Associate's degree or equivalent work experience.
