Job Title: Wholesale Account Manager

Job Description:

The Wholesale Account Manager will be a key player in our Manhattan, KS offices, responsible for driving sales growth and building strong relationships with customers. This role involves extensive travel, both during the day and occasionally overnight, and requires a passion for premium beef products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Acquire new business with retail stores, meat shops, food service, and restaurants
  • Maintain and grow existing customer relationships and business
  • Cold calls and visits with existing and potential new customers
  • Input sales orders into the system for deliveries and will calls
  • Work with the team to ensure customer needs are met
  • Collaborate with distribution to ensure special delivery needs are met
  • Communicate with customers via email, phone, and text

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of proven track record in sales or customer relations
  • 1 year in protein/restaurant sales preferred
  • Strong negotiation and customer service skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
