Role Summary: As a Quality Control Inspector, you will play a vital role in ensuring production targets are met while upholding the company's high standards. This position is with a prominent designer and manufacturer of fiber optic networking solutions, serving key markets such as cable television broadband, fiber-to-the-home, and internet data centers.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive inspections of incoming materials, in-process production, and finished goods to verify adherence to quality standards.
  • Utilize specialized equipment to perform precise measurements and tests, ensuring compliance with established specifications.
  • Document and communicate inspection findings, highlighting any defects or discrepancies.
  • Collaborate with production teams to swiftly address and resolve quality-related concerns.
  • Engage in root cause analysis and implement corrective measures to prevent future quality issues.
  • Maintain meticulous records of inspections and quality control activities in line with company protocols.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement efforts by suggesting enhancements to quality control processes.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Demonstrated experience in quality control, inspection, or a related field within a manufacturing setting.
  • Familiarity with using microscopes, hand tools, computers, and tweezers.
  • Basic computer proficiency and data entry experience.
  • Knowledge of SAP, MES, or other inventory and quality management systems is preferred.
  • Prior experience in quality control is highly desirable.
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment criminal background check and drug screening.
