Job Description Play a critical role in supporting production goals and maintaining high company standards when you become a Quality Assurance Operator with one the leading designers and manufacturers of fiber optic networking products. Our client primarily serves three growing end-markets: cable television broadband, fiber-to-the-home, and internet data centers. As a Quality Control Inspector, you will be responsible for conducting inspection, testing, and/pr screening for defects in optoelectronic components. Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough inspections of incoming materials, in-process production, and finished products to ensure they meet quality standards.
  • Perform detailed measurements and tests using specialized equipment to verify compliance with specifications.
  • Document and report inspection results, identifying any defects or non-conformities.
  • Collaborate with production teams to address and resolve quality issues promptly.
  • Participate in root cause analysis and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence of quality issues.
  • Maintain accurate records of inspections and quality control activities in accordance with company procedures.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives by recommending enhancements to quality control processes and procedures.
Qualifications and Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Proven experience in quality control, inspection, or a related role within a manufacturing environment
  • Previous experience in using microscopes, hand tools, computers and tweezers
  • Basic computer skills
  • Data entry experience
  • Familiarity with SAP, MES, or other inventory and quality management systems
  • Highly prefer someone with previous experience in quality control
  • Must be able to pass a pre-employment criminal background check and drug screen
