KSS Immersion Schools Inc. is seeking a dedicated Spanish Elementary Educator

YOUR ROLE IN SUPPORTING STUDENTS

  • Design and implement interdisciplinary learning experiences tailored for individual, small, and large group instruction in a language immersion context.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to cultivate the school's ethos and foster relationships among students across all grades.
  • Assist parents in navigating the complexities of the PYP, helping them understand their children's capabilities and how to best support their learning journey.
  • Utilize the local community as a resource for educational experiences and engage students in meaningful service projects.
  • Enhance language acquisition by consistently using the target language in the classroom and working with fellow educators to refine the language curriculum.
  • Incorporate technology as a tool to empower students in expressing ideas, innovating, solving problems, and collaborating with others.
  • Prepare materials and learning environments for various activities, ensuring readiness for instructional sessions.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's Degree in relevant subject areas; a Master's degree is preferred.
  • A minimum of three years of experience in elementary education.
  • A valid teaching certification for Elementary Education.
  • Fluency in English for professional collaboration and workshop participation.
  • Fluency in Spanish.
  • Strong experience with the implementation of Apple technology in educational settings.
  • Fully vaccinated against Covid-19, as per eligibility.
