Job Summary

CIS is seeking a highly skilled, bilingual Spanish-speaking Master's Level Social Worker, Art Therapist, or Mental Health Counselor to join our team. As a key member of our school-based programs, you will provide counseling services to students in elementary, middle, and high schools throughout the 5 boroughs of New York City.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct counseling sessions and outreach in Spanish
  • Provide clinical supervision and hours toward licensure
  • Experience with clinical documentation and electronic records
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent organization, time management, and multi-tasking abilities
  • Self-starter with a strong work ethic and motivation
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-based setting

Requirements

  • Master's Degree in Creative Arts Therapy, Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, or related field
  • Bilingual in Spanish
  • Experience in school-based programs and crisis intervention preferred
