Job Summary

CIS is seeking a highly skilled, bilingual mental health practitioner to join our team. As a Spanish-speaking school counselor or multilingual therapist, you will work with children, families, and educators to provide counseling services and support. This is a full-time, in-person position in Brooklyn, NY.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide counseling services to children and families in Spanish
  • Develop and implement counseling programs for schools and communities
  • Collaborate with educators and community organizations to promote mental health and wellness
  • Conduct assessments and develop treatment plans for clients
  • Provide crisis intervention and de-escalation services as needed

Requirements

  • Master's degree in counseling, social work, or a related field
  • Bilingual in Spanish
  • Experience working with children and families in a school or community setting
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
