Position Overview:

The Admissions Specialist plays a crucial role in engaging with prospective and current students to guide them through the admissions process. This position involves:

  • Evaluating student transcripts and determining residency status.
  • Performing accurate data entry and maintaining student records.
  • Assisting students with their applications and providing essential information regarding admissions requirements.

This role serves as a vital link between the community and the College's Admissions Office, ensuring that all inquiries are addressed with the utmost professionalism and accuracy.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Act as a primary contact for students regarding admissions processes.
  2. Stay updated on College policies, regulations, and general information to provide accurate guidance.
  3. Collaborate with the Director of Admissions to enhance the admissions experience.

Minimum Qualifications:

Candidates must possess an associate degree from a regionally accredited institution. Relevant professional experience may be considered in lieu of formal education on a year-for-year basis. A successful criminal background check is mandatory for this position.

Compensation:

The annual salary for this position is $36,000, equating to $18.70 per hour.
