Position Overview:
CAN Community Health, a leading provider of HIV services, is seeking a dedicated Patient Services Coordinator to join our clinic team. This role is pivotal in ensuring a positive experience for patients navigating their healthcare journey.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Efficiently manage the front desk operations, ensuring a welcoming environment for all patients and visitors.
  2. Handle incoming calls with professionalism, directing inquiries appropriately.
  3. Process daily billing batches and collect payments, maintaining accurate financial records.
  4. Verify and update patient insurance information, ensuring compliance with all regulations.
  5. Maintain confidentiality of patient information in accordance with HIPAA guidelines.
  6. Assist with administrative tasks as needed, supporting other departments within the clinic.

Qualifications:

Education:
Associate Degree or equivalent experience in a business-related field.

Experience:
A minimum of three years in an office setting, with at least one year in a medical environment.

Skills:
Proficient in electronic medical records systems and Microsoft Office Suite. Strong organizational and interpersonal skills are essential.

Work Environment:
This position operates in a professional office setting, utilizing standard office equipment.

Physical Requirements:
Must maintain a professional appearance and be able to perform sedentary tasks with occasional light lifting.
