Position Title: Guest Service Agent

Overview:

The Guest Service Agent plays a crucial role in delivering a friendly and inviting atmosphere for all visitors. This position is responsible for managing guest registration, check-in, and check-out processes, while providing essential information regarding hotel amenities and local attractions.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Greet guests warmly and professionally, addressing inquiries and fulfilling requests.
  2. Facilitate guest registration by confirming room preferences, verifying pre-registrations, and issuing key cards.
  3. Assist guests in locating their rooms and provide directions as needed.
  4. Handle guest complaints with patience and professionalism, ensuring issues are resolved efficiently.
  5. Maintain accurate records of guest accounts and perform all necessary accounting functions to ensure accuracy in billing.
  6. Collect payments and manage cash transactions responsibly.
  7. Notify management of any unusual occurrences or safety concerns.
  8. Adhere to all safety protocols and maintain compliance with hotel policies.

Qualifications:

Ideal candidates will possess prior experience in customer service or hospitality. Strong communication skills are essential for interacting with a diverse clientele. Basic math and computer skills are required for data entry and billing processes. Attention to detail and the ability to remain calm under pressure are crucial for success in this role.

Team members must be flexible with their schedules, as shifts may vary based on the hotel's operational needs. A professional appearance and demeanor are expected at all times.
