Primary Duties:

  • Invoice Management: Scrutinize, validate, and process a substantial volume of invoices and expense claims in alignment with organizational policies and procedures.
  • Payment Execution: Prepare and carry out payments through checks, ACH, and various other methods, guaranteeing timely and precise fund disbursement.
  • Vendor Relations: Cultivate and maintain positive interactions with vendors, addressing and resolving any concerns or discrepancies related to invoices or payments.
  • Account Reconciliation: Conduct regular reconciliations of accounts payable transactions and vendor statements, investigating and rectifying any inconsistencies.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure adherence to internal controls, company policies, and relevant regulatory standards.
  • Reporting Duties: Assist in generating reports and summaries for management, including aging reports and expense analyses.
  • Interdepartmental Collaboration: Collaborate closely with other departments to facilitate financial operations and resolve any accounts payable-related issues.

Candidate Qualifications:

  • Experience: A minimum of 3 years in accounts payable, with a strong emphasis on Accounts Receivable Processing (ARP).
  • Education: An associate's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline is preferred. Relevant certifications are advantageous.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel. Familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) is highly desirable.
  • Detail Orientation: Strong analytical capabilities with meticulous attention to detail and accuracy in managing financial transactions.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with vendors and internal stakeholders.
  • Organizational Abilities: Capability to juggle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a dynamic environment.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Strong problem-solving abilities with a proactive approach to identifying and addressing challenges.
