Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate, repair, and maintain hydraulic systems in heavy machinery.
- Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on hydraulic components.
- Replace hydraulic hoses, pumps, motors, valves, and other necessary parts.
- Conduct troubleshooting to identify and resolve hydraulic system issues effectively.
- Maintain high standards of attendance and punctuality.
- Support and adhere to AMECO's Health, Safety & Environmental and Sustainability Policies.
Education Requirements: High School diploma or GED; Technical school credentials are preferred.
Minimum Qualifications:
- At least five years of experience in hydraulic repair for heavy equipment.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret equipment manuals and blueprints.
- Experience with rigging is advantageous.
- Familiarity with various construction equipment, including aerial lifts, skid loaders, mobile cranes, and more.
- Professional demeanor with a focus on customer service.
- Willingness to travel overnight up to 60% of the time.
- A valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to meet the physical demands of the job, including lifting, climbing, and working in various weather conditions.
- Comfortable in a fast-paced work environment.
- Capable of managing multiple tasks while upholding quality and safety standards.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
- Must provide personal repair tools; larger tools and equipment will be supplied.
- Overtime, including weekends, may be required based on workload.
