Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate, repair, and maintain hydraulic systems in heavy machinery.
  • Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on hydraulic components.
  • Replace hydraulic hoses, pumps, motors, valves, and other necessary parts.
  • Conduct troubleshooting to identify and resolve hydraulic system issues effectively.
  • Maintain high standards of attendance and punctuality.
  • Support and adhere to AMECO's Health, Safety & Environmental and Sustainability Policies.

Education Requirements: High School diploma or GED; Technical school credentials are preferred.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • At least five years of experience in hydraulic repair for heavy equipment.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret equipment manuals and blueprints.
  • Experience with rigging is advantageous.
  • Familiarity with various construction equipment, including aerial lifts, skid loaders, mobile cranes, and more.
  • Professional demeanor with a focus on customer service.
  • Willingness to travel overnight up to 60% of the time.
  • A valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Ability to meet the physical demands of the job, including lifting, climbing, and working in various weather conditions.
  • Comfortable in a fast-paced work environment.
  • Capable of managing multiple tasks while upholding quality and safety standards.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
  • Must provide personal repair tools; larger tools and equipment will be supplied.
  • Overtime, including weekends, may be required based on workload.
