Job Title: Diesel Mechanic

Location: Harrison, AR

Schedule: Monday - Friday (5:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.), with occasional Saturdays

Pay: $18/hr.

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Diesel Mechanic to perform preventative maintenance and repairs on our fleet of garbage trucks. Your expertise will ensure the smooth operation of hydraulic and electrical systems, parts replacement, and minor engine repairs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct routine preventative maintenance on diesel engines and related systems
  • Troubleshoot and repair hydraulic and electrical systems
  • Replace worn or damaged parts and perform minor engine repairs
  • Ensure all work complies with safety standards and regulations
  • Perform other tasks as required to support fleet operations

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in diesel or heavy truck fleet maintenance
  • Class A or B CDL is a plus
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
