Job Title: Diesel Mechanic

We are seeking a skilled Diesel Mechanic to join our team at Waste Connections. As a Diesel Mechanic, you will be responsible for performing preventative maintenance and repairs on our fleet of garbage trucks.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct routine preventative maintenance on diesel engines and related systems
  • Troubleshoot and repair hydraulic and electrical systems
  • Replace worn or damaged parts and perform minor engine repairs
  • Ensure all work complies with safety standards and regulations
  • Perform other tasks as required to support fleet operations
Requirements:
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in diesel or heavy truck fleet maintenance
  • Class A or B CDL is a plus
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
Benefits:
