The ideal candidate will have experience working in a global and matrix organization, with a strong background in industrial and/or supply chain purchasing. They will be responsible for developing and implementing short-, medium-, and long-term purchasing strategies that deliver best-in-class results in the areas of people, processes, costs, and supply.

The Associate Director of Strategic Sourcing will work closely with the global procurement team to establish strategic partnerships with key suppliers at the senior management level. They will also be responsible for identifying and executing cost-saving negotiation initiatives, as well as providing cross-functional support on global strategy and negotiation initiatives.

The successful candidate will have a university degree or college diploma in a related discipline, with a minimum of five years of experience in a food manufacturing company. They will also have prior management experience and a strong understanding of contract law and financial statements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement short-, medium-, and long-term purchasing strategies
  • Establish strategic partnerships with key suppliers
  • Identify and execute cost-saving negotiation initiatives
  • Provide cross-functional support on global strategy and negotiation initiatives
  • Manage a team of purchasing professionals

Requirements:
