Chief Operating Officer

Restoration Society, Inc. is seeking an experienced and results-driven Chief Operating Officer to drive the operational effectiveness and efficiency of our organization.

The COO will play a critical role in overseeing the day-to-day operations, implementing strategic initiatives, and ensuring the organization's overall success and sustainability.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement operational strategies to achieve organizational goals and objectives.
  • Streamline processes and procedures to optimize effectiveness and efficiency across all departments and programs.
  • Monitor key performance outcomes to track achievement and identify areas for improvement.
  • Ensure service commitments and contracts are executed within the standards outlined within their respective guidelines.
  • Financial Management:
    • Oversee budgeting, financial planning, and forecasting activities in collaboration with the CFO.
    • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and reporting requirements.
    • Identify opportunities for cost reduction and revenue generation.
  • Human Resources:
    • Lead and mentor the human resources team to ensure a positive, productive, and compliant work environment.
    • Ensure HR policies and procedures are developed, implemented, and executed in a compliant manner.
    • Foster a culture of diversity, equity, and inclusion throughout the organization.
  • Strategic Planning:
    • Collaborate with the executive team to develop and execute strategic plans and initiatives.
    • Conduct research and analysis to identify emerging trends and opportunities in the non-profit sector.
    • Provide recommendations for organizational growth and sustainability.
  • Collaboration and Partnership:
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with external stakeholders, including funders, donors, partners, and community organizations.
    • Represent the organization at meetings, conferences, and events to promote our mission and initiatives.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
  • Proven track record of successful leadership and upper-level strategic management experience in the non-profit sector.
  • Extensive experience working in the field(s) of mental health, substance abuse, and/or rehabilitation.
  • Strong understanding of finances and experience with budgeting, financial management, and reporting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and collaborate effectively with customers, staff, and diverse stakeholders.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to analyze complex issues, synthesize opportunities, and develop innovative solutions.
  • Commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion, with a demonstrated understanding of their importance in non-profit organizations.

Benefits:

The salary range for this position is $100,000 - 110,000 annually, with a comprehensive benefits package.

This is a full-time position, Monday to Friday, with occasional on-call and weekend duties.
