Position Overview

Healthy Living is on the lookout for a passionate and dedicated individual to fill the role of Café Jr. Sous Chef. This position plays a crucial role in the kitchen hierarchy, acting as the 'third in command' and supporting the Café Chef in overseeing food preparation and production.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in supervising food production for all café offerings.
  • Manage food production staff and support them in their tasks.
  • Ensure that quality and cost standards are consistently met.
Ideal Candidate Profile

The perfect candidate will possess:

  • The ability to maintain composure under pressure while fostering a positive work environment.
  • Strong multitasking, delegation, and communication skills to keep the Café Chef and Sous Chef informed of all operational matters.
  • A commitment to presenting food in accordance with café standards.
  • A role model attitude towards hospitality.
  • A culinary degree or substantial cooking experience.
  • A minimum of one year in a supervisory role and three years of professional kitchen experience.
Employment Details

Hours: Full Time

Compensation: $20.63 per hour
