Sales Floor Supervisor

Gopuff is in search of a Sales Floor Supervisor to enhance our Retail Operations. In this role, you will assist the Store Manager in fostering an outstanding customer experience while driving revenue and achieving business objectives. Your leadership will be pivotal in daily operations, motivating the team to meet store targets while ensuring exceptional service.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Create a welcoming atmosphere for customers by greeting and assisting them, while promptly addressing their inquiries.
  • Exhibit strong leadership on the sales floor, ensuring that all customers receive top-notch service and their needs are fulfilled.
  • Oversee daily store operations, including cash handling, opening and closing procedures, and managing the POS system.
  • Meet sales goals and enhance profitability through effective merchandising and selling techniques, guiding customers in their purchasing decisions.
  • Collaborate with support teams to boost sales, promote merchandise categories, and explore new market opportunities.
  • Assist the Store Manager in managing store expenses and budgets, including labor and operational costs.
  • Utilize company resources to identify opportunities and formulate action plans for improving store performance.
  • Monitor stock levels and engage in inventory management to prevent stockouts and excess inventory.
  • Support the training of store staff by providing feedback, coaching, and contributing to performance evaluations.
  • Ensure accuracy in pricing, signage, and product displays at all times.
  • Manage vendor deliveries and ensure timely stocking of the sales floor.
  • Control inventory levels and reorder as necessary while adhering to budget constraints.
  • Enforce company policies and procedures, including health, safety, and security protocols.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and inviting store environment.
Required Skills:

Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 3 years in a management role.
  • Experience in retail or hospitality management is preferred.
  • Knowledge of wine, spirits, and beer is advantageous.
  • Availability for full-time work as business needs dictate.
  • Understanding of regulations related to alcohol sales.
  • Strong interpersonal skills for effective communication with customers and team members.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Ability to lift up to 49 pounds.
Compensation:

Gopuff offers competitive compensation based on market standards, which may vary by location. The salary range reflects what we would reasonably expect to pay candidates, taking into account skills, experience, and market conditions.
