About the School Bus Driver Position:

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Transportation Professional to join our team at First Student. As a Student Safety Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe transportation of students to and from school.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate a school bus safely and efficiently, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations.
  • Conduct pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure the bus is in good working condition.
  • Provide excellent customer service to students, parents, and school staff.
  • Work collaboratively with other transportation professionals to ensure seamless operations.

Requirements:

  • Valid driver's license for at least 3 years.
  • Good verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations.
  • Pass a background check and drug screen.
