Role Summary:

  • We are in search of two skilled Senior Backend Java Engineers with robust backend development skills to enhance our team.
  • The ideal candidates will possess substantial experience with Java 11 or newer and have a comprehensive understanding of DevOps methodologies.
  • Experience with Python, Kubernetes, and Terraform will be considered a significant advantage.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and sustain high-performance backend systems utilizing Java 11 or newer.
  • Collaborate with diverse teams to outline, design, and implement new functionalities.
  • Establish and oversee continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) frameworks.
  • Leverage Kubernetes for container management and oversee deployment workflows.
  • Write and manage infrastructure as code through Terraform.
  • Conduct code evaluations, guide junior developers, and ensure compliance with best practices and coding standards.
  • Diagnose and resolve intricate technical challenges promptly.
  • Remain informed about the latest industry advancements and technologies to ensure our solutions are state-of-the-art.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Demonstrated experience as a Senior Backend Java Engineer with proficiency in Java 11 or newer.
  • Strong foundation in backend development and microservices architecture.
  • Familiarity with Python is advantageous.
  • Expertise in DevOps practices and tools, including Kubernetes and Terraform.
  • Exceptional problem-solving abilities and the capacity to work autonomously as well as collaboratively.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment while managing multiple tasks.
