Position Overview

The Equine Client Services Coordinator plays a pivotal role in enhancing client communication and service delivery within the Veterinary Teaching Hospital. This position is dedicated to managing inquiries related to equine and livestock medicine, ensuring seamless appointment scheduling, and providing comprehensive support to clients and veterinary professionals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Client Interaction: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients and referring veterinarians, addressing inquiries and facilitating effective communication.
  • Appointment Management: Oversee the scheduling of appointments, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in coordinating multi-service visits.
  • Information Verification: Confirm client and patient details, explaining appointment procedures and determining service areas based on medical concerns.
  • Administrative Support: Maintain the online scheduling system and assist in managing communications across various service areas, including the call center and medical records.
  • Client Updates: Keep clients informed about appointment statuses and procedures, ensuring a high level of service throughout their experience.

Qualifications

Applicants should possess a Bachelor’s degree in Health Care Management or a related field, along with substantial experience in client service roles within the healthcare sector. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, are essential, as is proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and electronic medical records technology.
