Position Overview
The Account Representative is responsible for delivering exceptional service to both prospective and current clients. This role involves recognizing opportunities for cross-selling and collaborating with sales experts for follow-up actions. Additionally, the representative supports the agency owner in achieving service objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Delivers tailored, professional customer service by fostering trust and nurturing strong client relationships
  • Adds value by addressing customer inquiries related to coverage options, billing, claims, or products in accordance with established agency protocols
  • Facilitates modifications to current accounts and policies
  • Identifies opportunities to introduce American Family products to existing clientele
  • Coordinates appointments with current or potential clients for agency staff
Required Qualifications
  • Employment is contingent upon obtaining a personal lines insurance license within 30 days of hire
  • Bilingual candidates are preferred
  • Proven experience in customer service
  • Strong communication abilities
  • Proficient in PC software applications (Microsoft Office Suite, Internet Explorer)
  • Basic mathematical skills are essential

This role is part of the Agency Team, working under the Agency Owner and is not an employee of American Family Insurance.
