Behavioral Support Technician

Spur Staffing is actively seeking passionate Behavioral Support Technicians who are dedicated to fostering a nurturing and collaborative atmosphere that promotes development and learning. We are looking for enthusiastic professionals eager to make a meaningful difference in the lives of young children and their families through a fulfilling role as an ABA therapist.
We provide flexible scheduling options and are hiring both part-time and full-time Behavioral Support Technicians and Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) to work in our clinic.
Key Responsibilities:
As a Behavioral Support Technician, you will implement personalized applied behavior analysis (ABA) programs under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). Your responsibilities will include:
- Applying fundamental principles of ABA, including reinforcement, prompting, and shaping techniques.
- Teaching essential ABA, social, and daily living skills.
- Effectively managing and reducing challenging or disruptive behaviors.
- Creating an engaging and motivating environment to maximize individual performance.
- Collecting and documenting data on ABA program objectives using an online tracking system.
- Supporting parents, educators, and caregivers to enhance the effectiveness of our programs across various settings.
- Executing programs designed by the BCBA.
Qualifications:
- A degree in relevant fields such as behavior analysis, education, or psychology is preferred.
- Prior ABA training is advantageous but not mandatory; training will be provided upon hiring.
- Experience working with children, particularly those with autism and applying ABA techniques, is preferred.
- Candidates should be energetic, animated, and outgoing, with a strong commitment to helping children realize their full potential.
Uniform: Uniform requirements will be provided upon hiring.
Employment Status: Available as part-time or full-time positions.
Compensation: $23.00 per hour.
