Position Overview

Spur Staffing is in search of passionate Behavioral Support Technicians who are dedicated to creating a nurturing, collaborative, and encouraging atmosphere that promotes development and learning. We are looking for enthusiastic professionals eager to make a positive impact in the lives of young children and their families through a fulfilling role as an ABA therapist.

We provide flexible working hours and are currently hiring both part-time and full-time Behavioral Support Technicians and Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) to operate within our clinic.

Key Responsibilities:

As a Behavioral Support Technician, you will implement tailored applied behavior analysis (ABA) strategies under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). Your responsibilities will include:

  • Applying fundamental ABA principles, including reinforcement, prompting, and shaping techniques.
  • Instructing on ABA, social skills, and daily living skills.
  • Effectively managing and reducing challenging or disruptive behaviors.
  • Creating an engaging and motivating environment to encourage optimal performance for each individual.
  • Collecting and documenting data on ABA programming objectives and utilizing an online platform for tracking and monitoring progress.
  • Providing assistance to parents, educators, and caregivers to enhance the effectiveness of our programs across all settings in the child's life.
  • Executing programs designed by the BCBA.
Qualifications:

Applicants should possess:

  • An associate or bachelor’s degree in relevant fields such as behavior analysis, education, or psychology.
  • Preferred experience in ABA training, though Carebot will provide training upon hiring.
  • Experience working with children, particularly those with autism, utilizing ABA methodologies is advantageous.
  • A vibrant, animated, and outgoing personality, with a strong commitment to helping children realize their full potential.
Uniform and Employment Status:

Uniform requirements will be provided upon hiring.

Status: Part-time / Full-time

Compensation:

Hourly Rate: $23.00
