Position Overview:
This role is integral to the operations of the Enterprise Risk Management Committee.

The responsibilities include the creation and upkeep of enterprise risk tracking and reporting frameworks, executing divisional risk evaluations, delivering analytical assistance to finance and risk sectors, and overseeing operational risk activities.

This position reports directly to the Director of Enterprise Risk Management and involves substantial collaboration with management across various business divisions.


Key Responsibilities:

Responsibility 1:
Assess, track, and report on divisional risk profiles - 60%
Conduct divisional risk assessments as per the established enterprise risk review protocol.
Monitor divisional Key Risk Indicators and investigate any breaches of thresholds.
Assist in analyses for stress testing and capital distribution.
Examine incidents and track findings through the remediation process.

Responsibility 2:
Facilitate Operational Risk Management Activities - 30%
Oversee the Business Continuity Planning process and its documentation.
Review Risk Acceptance requests and provide suitable recommendations.
Assist in estimating Allowances for Loan and Lease Losses.
Coordinate New Product Risk Assessments with management.

Responsibility 3:
Administrative Support for the Enterprise Risk Management Committee - 10%
Monitor issues through to remediation.
Maintain the company's Governance, Risk Management, and Compliance systems.
Regularly update risk appetite statements.
Assist in preparing for ERM meetings and documenting minutes.

Position Requirements:

Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, or Accounting.
A minimum of 3 years' experience in lending, financial services operations management, financial institution risk management, or related fields.
Strong oral and written communication abilities.

Strong organizational capabilities.
Effective problem-solving and analytical skills.
Able to work autonomously.
Physical Demands - Must be met with or without reasonable accommodation:
Extended periods of sitting at a desk and utilizing office equipment.
Ability to operate a personal computer/laptop for approximately 8 hours daily.
Regularly reviewing physical and electronic documents.
Occasional requirements to stand, walk, and reach with arms and hands.
Vision abilities required by this job include close vision.
Occasional light lifting of supplies and materials weighing approximately 20 lbs.
Primarily working in an indoor environment.
