Job Description

Job Summary:

Sargents Equipment is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales Representative to join our Hose Division team. As a Sales Representative, you will be responsible for prospecting, developing, and capturing new customers across various industries that utilize hydraulic hoses.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sales and Service: Sell, promote, and service Sargents Equipment's hose product line to external customers.
  • Business Development: Develop business strategies to increase customer base, expand store traffic, and optimize profitability.
  • Sales Initiatives: Develop and implement new sales initiatives to drive growth and revenue.
  • Customer Engagement: Meet with customers to discuss their evolving needs and assess the quality of our company's relationship with them.
  • Sales Data Analysis: Track and report sales data to leadership teams.

Requirements:

  • Experience: Prior hose sales experience and a strong understanding of sales principles and practices.
  • Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, proficiency in assessing customer needs, and ability to analyze and propose customized solutions.
  • Education: High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
