Job Description

At Point Digital Finance, Inc., we're on a mission to make homeownership more valuable and accessible to all. As our Product Design Lead: Content, you'll play a crucial role in creating a simple and compelling product narrative that resonates with our customers.

About the Role

You'll be responsible for crafting clear, accessible, and engaging content that meets the needs of our customers and supports our internal content creators. This includes designing UI copy, content hierarchies, user flows, and information architectures that seamlessly integrate with our overall user experience.

Your Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with product designers and cross-functional teams to develop and implement content strategies that drive positive business outcomes.
  • Conduct UX research, leveraging user testing and interviews to gather insights that inform content decisions.
  • Translate data into actionable content changes that enhance the user experience.
  • Work closely with marketing, sales, product, and customer service teams to harmonize content efforts across the company.
  • Craft content tailored to various formats and audiences, including UI copy, phone scripts, help center articles, and more.
  • Educate the team on best practices and content design fundamentals.

About You

  • Strategic and creative professional with a talent for transforming complex financial concepts into easy-to-understand explanations.
  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Journalism, English, Human Computer Interaction, Design, Psychology, Finance, or a related field.
  • 5+ years in product design, content design, UX writing, or related roles, particularly within the fintech or startup sectors.
  • An influential leader capable of persuading senior department heads of entirely new approaches to content creation.
  • Skilled in leveraging user testing and research to enhance content effectiveness and user experience.
  • Collaborative team player with a proven ability to work seamlessly with cross-functional teams.
  • Proficient in Figma, content management systems, and web analytics.
  • Experienced at leading discussions and aligning teams toward common goals.

Compensation

Compensation at Point Digital Finance, Inc. will be determined by skills, experience, and geographic location. We've identified the expected annual base salary range for roles at this level based on market by tiers:

  • Tier 1: San Francisco Bay Area, New York, Los Angeles, & Seattle - $170,000 - $230,000
  • Tier 2: Chicago, Austin, Denver, Boston, Washington DC, San Diego - $144,500 - $195,500
  • Tier 3: All other US metro areas - $136,000 - $184,000

This does not include any other potential components of the compensation package, including equity, benefits, and perks outlined above.
