Job Description

At Point Digital Finance, Inc., we're seeking a skilled Product Design Lead: Content to join our team. As a key member of our product design team, you'll be responsible for creating a compelling product narrative that resonates with our customers.

About the Role

As a Product Design Lead: Content, you'll work closely with our product designers and cross-functional teams to develop a clear and consistent product narrative. You'll leverage human-centered design principles, such as user testing and interviews, to enhance the effectiveness of each touchpoint. Your mandate will be to make everything from UI copy and video scripts to help center content and emails clear, consistent, and impactful.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with product designers to design UI copy, content hierarchies, user flows, and information architectures.
  • Conduct UX research to gather insights that influence product leadership and lead to better performing copy.
  • Translate data into actionable product copy changes that drive positive business outcomes.
  • Serve as a bridge between marketing, sales, product, and customer service teams to share insights and harmonize content efforts.
  • Craft clear, accessible, and engaging copy tailored to various formats and audiences.

About You

  • Strategic and creative experienced professional with a talent for transforming complex financial concepts into easy-to-understand explanations.
  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Journalism, English, Human Computer Interaction, Design, Psychology, Finance, or a related field.
  • 5+ years in product design, content design, UX writing, or related roles, particularly within the fintech or startup sectors.
  • An influential leader capable of persuading senior department heads of entirely new approaches to how we describe our product.
  • Skilled in leveraging user testing and research to enhance content effectiveness and user experience.
