Job Overview

The Inbound Logistics Coordinator plays a crucial role in ensuring the precise and prompt reception of inventory while aligning vendor invoices with purchase orders. This position entails validating inventory receipts, processing vendor invoices, and maintaining compliance with company documentation standards.

Key Responsibilities

Inventory Reception: Manage the receipt of incoming inventory and verify that receiving documents correspond with purchase orders to confirm accuracy in quantities and pricing. Obtain necessary approvals for any discrepancies from authorized personnel. Document Validation: Ensure the authenticity of receiving documents by confirming they bear the signatures of authorized warehouse staff. Inventory Labeling: Generate inventory labels for each receipt to facilitate accurate tracking and management of stock. Invoice Management: Handle and reconcile vendor invoices with the relevant purchase orders and receiving documents to ensure correctness in quantities and pricing. Off-Site Inventory Processing: Manage receipts for off-site inventory utilizing documents received from external sources. Weight Distribution: Allocate weight on processing receipts and create new inventory labels as necessary. Reconciliation Tasks: Align individual receiver printouts with receipts to guarantee accuracy and completeness. Additional Responsibilities: Undertake other related tasks as assigned to enhance inventory management and administrative operations.

Required Qualifications

Computer Proficiency: Skilled in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Experience: Minimum of 1 year in an administrative support role within a professional environment, ideally in a dynamic setting. Education: High School diploma or GED. Communication Abilities: Strong verbal and written communication skills. Administrative Acumen: Understanding of administrative and clerical procedures, including file management, form design, and office protocols. Organizational Competence: Exceptional organizational and time management skills, capable of managing multiple tasks efficiently. Physical Capability: Ability to pass a physical examination assessing vision, hearing, and mobility. Dependability: Proven track record of reliable work history. Detail Orientation: Strong focus on detail for accurate documentation and reconciliation.
