Position Overview:

We are seeking an Accounts Receivable Manager to oversee our AR department, with a focus on complex billing systems and gentle collection practices. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in legal billing or similar professional services, along with a diplomatic approach to managing receivables, particularly utilizing Stripe or comparable digital payment systems.


Key Responsibilities:


Process Mastery: Manage the entire accounts receivable process, emphasizing legal billing methods and the application of Stripe for invoicing, payment processing, and financial reconciliation.

Soft Collections: Develop and implement soft collection strategies that foster positive client relationships while ensuring prompt invoice payments.
Lead, mentor, and guide a team of accounts receivable specialists to improve performance, career growth, and job satisfaction.
Establish and enforce policies and procedures that minimize the time required to collect receivables and maintain precise records.

Collaborate with sales and customer service teams to address discrepancies and resolve billing concerns, ensuring high customer satisfaction.

Prepare regular financial reports on accounts receivable status, including weekly, monthly, and quarterly updates.
Oversee cash flow forecasts related to receivables and communicate significant issues to management.
Ensure adherence to internal policies and external regulations.
Promote continuous improvement initiatives within the accounts receivable department through technology and innovative practices.

Qualifications:

Demonstrated experience as an Accounts Receivable Manager or in a similar capacity.
Strong grasp of billing and financial management, including familiarity with Stripe invoicing software or its equivalent.
Exceptional leadership skills with experience in both strategic and operational roles.
Strong analytical capabilities and meticulous attention to detail.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, adept at working with diverse teams and clients.
Proficiency in MS Office and accounting software; knowledge of CRM systems is advantageous.
