Key Responsibilities

We are in search of a Survey Crew Chief to enhance our Survey Department in the Tri-Cities office. In this position, you will engage in various projects, including residential developments, educational institutions, and military facilities. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting a blend of office and fieldwork.
  • Leading the survey crew to ensure project completion within budget and to client satisfaction.
  • Executing surveys, such as ALTA/ACSM land title surveys, route surveys, topographic surveys, and construction staking projects.
Qualifications

We are looking for candidates who meet the following criteria:

  • A minimum of 4 years of experience in surveying, with prior experience as a Survey Crew Chief preferred.
  • Comprehensive understanding of land surveying principles and practices.
  • Proficient in TDS, Trimble software, Trimble Robotic Total Stations, and GPS technology.
  • Ability to organize field notes and perform field staking effectively.
  • Strong communication skills and proficiency in computer applications.
  • A valid driver's license and the capability to obtain necessary clearances for local military and Department of Energy sites.
Compensation and Benefits

Your compensation will be commensurate with experience and other job-related factors allowed by law:

  • Hourly rate starting at $43.
  • Annual discretionary performance-based bonus.
