Centuria is proud to have received this honor.PROGRAM OVERVIEW: The Office of Naval Intelligence (ONI) Partnerships and Capabilities Directorate (N3) is committed to ensuring that critical Intelligence information is accessible to naval forces while safeguarding the network and its sensitive information from adversarial threats. To mitigate vulnerabilities and facilitate secure information sharing, robust cyber support for internal defense systems and critical infrastructure protection is essential. The Partnerships and Capabilities Directorate (N3) is responsible for developing and delivering mission-critical data management and processing systems that are classified at the TS/SCI level and contain highly sensitive information. Contractor support is necessary to implement DoD, DoN, IC, and ONI cybersecurity policies and guidelines for federal systems.
This position supports ONI.
Centuria is seeking skilled professionals to assist the Government in overseeing both development and sustainment projects managed by the ONI Partnerships and Capabilities Directorate (N3).
This role will support technological advancements and mission operations across various locations, including the National Maritime Intelligence Center (NMIC).Access to a range of information and intelligence, from Unclassified (U) to Top Secret (TS) and Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI), is required to fulfill the task requirements effectively.
The recruitment and retention of qualified SCI-cleared IT and Cybersecurity professionals has proven challenging.Key Responsibilities:
- Employ a systematic engineering approach to design, architect, and develop cloud technologies for mission-critical solutions.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to formulate a cloud strategy, create and implement a cloud architecture, and drive cultural change for cloud adoption.
- Work closely with Risk Management Framework (RMF) teams to ensure the cloud environment meets the necessary authority to operate (ATO) standards.
- Develop strategies to monitor cloud usage in accordance with security requirements, ensuring optimal performance.
- Provide expertise on cloud technologies, tools, and best practices to meet availability, scalability, performance, and security standards for applications and systems in a cloud environment.
- Assist Cybersecurity Teams with technical information for new and existing Authority to Operate (ATO) packages.
- Support the implementation of security measures across workstations, servers, and other system components.
- Participate in the design, implementation, testing, and deployment of hardware and software for ONI networks.
- Ensure that hardware and software deliverables comply with cybersecurity requirements as outlined by DoDI, Risk Management Framework (RMF), and NIST Special Publications.
- Develop strategies to monitor cloud usage in line with security requirements and ensure optimal performance.
- Personnel with privileged access must acknowledge special responsibilities with a Privileged Access Agreement (PAA) as per SECNAVINST A.
- Contribute to Monthly Task Order Status Reports as required.
- Support the creation of Technical reports, Briefings, and White Papers as needed.
- Provide Informal Technical Information as required.
- Attend meetings, whether in-person or virtual.
- Report on-site to ONI Monday - Friday, 8 hours per day during core hours.
- Travel may be necessary to various locations as required.
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related STEM field.
- A minimum of 10 years of experience in the IT sector, focusing on Cloud engineering projects within secure DOD environments.
- At least 3 years of experience deploying enterprise applications on cloud platforms, preferably AWS.
- Mastery of the functions associated with the IAT Level I position.
- Fulfillment of IAT Level II requirements.
- Must possess an active TS/SCI clearance.
- Commitment to maintaining or completing certifications, training, and continuing education throughout the contract duration, including mandatory training provided by the Government.
