Aerospace Systems Specialist

LinQuest is in search of an Aerospace Systems Specialist to become a vital part of our team. An active TS/SCI clearance with a CI/poly is mandatory.
This Aerospace Systems Specialist will play a crucial role in supporting the Space Systems Command's Space Domain Awareness and Combat Power portfolio.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the development of technical requirements and systems engineering processes while supervising contractors in the design, production, integration, and testing of aerospace systems.
- Manage payload integration and oversee interface control management.
- Conduct system integration across various initiatives to ensure the seamless integration of complex aerospace systems, including ground segment integration and operational deployment.
- Negotiate and manage interface control documents with external partners.
- Engage in systems architecting and engineering tasks such as defining system requirements, managing interfaces, developing data architecture, performing systems integration, conducting performance analysis, and lifecycle cost estimation.
- Oversee the verification and validation of requirements.
- Assess program risks and provide actionable insights to the chief engineer and program manager.
- Collaborate independently with representatives from government program offices, FFRDC, SETA, and contractor teams.
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field with fourteen (14) years of experience; or a Master's degree with twelve (12) years of experience; alternatively, four additional years of experience may substitute for a degree.
- Proven experience in technical requirements development, systems engineering, and supervising contractors in the aerospace sector.
- Experience in requirements verification and validation processes.
- Ability to operate in secure environments.
- Must possess an in-scope security background investigation (T5 or SSBI), adjudicated for SCI eligibility, and enrolled in the Continuous Evaluation program if applicable.
- Willingness to be nominated for access to Sensitive Compartmented Information and Special Access Programs, and to consent to a Polygraph examination.
